The secret to a manicure that lasts isn't only the polish — it's the canvas. I'm Angely, and what you do before your appointment genuinely affects how flawless and long-lasting your results will be. Here's how to set us both up for success.
Do come with clean, oil-free nails
Polish bonds best to a clean, dry nail. So skip the heavy hand cream and cuticle oil on the morning of your appointment — you can resume the moment we're done.
Don't cut your own cuticles beforehand
Leave the cuticle work to us. Over-trimming at home can leave the skin tender or prone to lifting. Just gently push them back after a shower in the days before, if you like.
Bring inspiration
- Save a few photos of shapes and colors you love.
- Think about your week ahead — a wedding, a trip, a big presentation.
- Let us know if your nails have been peeling or breaking lately.
Hydrate in the days before (just not the morning of)
Well-moisturized cuticles and nails shape better and look healthier. Oil them nightly in the lead-up — just give them a clean, dry start on appointment day.
Arrive relaxed
A manicure is a moment for you. Come a few minutes early, settle in, and let yourself enjoy it. The calmer you are, the steadier your hands, and the prettier the result.
Do a little prep, and you'll leave with a manicure that looks impeccable and lasts longer. Ready when you are — book your spot here.
