Choosing a nail shape is one of my favorite parts of a consultation — it's where personality meets practicality. I'm Angely, and I'd love to help you understand the most popular shapes so your next manicure feels truly you.
Square
Clean, strong, and classic. Square nails have straight edges and a flat tip. They're sturdy and great for shorter lengths, though the sharp corners can catch if grown too long.
Round
Soft and natural, round nails follow the curve of your fingertip. They're low-maintenance, hard to break, and lovely on shorter nails — my go-to recommendation for anyone wanting fuss-free elegance.
Oval
Oval nails elongate the fingers beautifully and suit almost everyone. They're feminine and flattering, especially on slimmer hands.
Almond
Tapered to a soft point, almond nails are elegant and slimming. They need a bit of length to shape well, and they look stunning with both nude and bold colors.
Coffin (ballerina)
Long, tapered, and squared off at the tip — dramatic and gorgeous. Coffin nails are a statement and usually work best as extensions.
How to choose
- Active hands? Round or square for durability.
- Want elongated fingers? Oval or almond.
- Love drama? Coffin or long almond.
There's no wrong answer — only what makes you smile when you look down at your hands. Bring inspiration to your next appointment and we'll find the perfect shape together.
